What Should We Do With Our Speech Error Corpora ? Notes from the Panel Discussion

We summarize in this paper some of the issues raised, opinions voiced, and ideas put forth at the eponymous panel discussion, for which we served as moderators. The panelists were Gary Dell, Jeri Jaeger, Stefanie Shattuck-Hufnagel and Joe Stemberger, whom we would like to thank for their contributions, and there was considerable audience participation as well. For practical reasons we do not attempt to attribute comments, nor to preserve the sequence of topics discussed.
